Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream in #23 50ml
According to the Missha site:
The packaging is different than the first BB Cream I reviewed, this one comes in a tube and the product is dispensed with a pump. The pump is actually very easy to control and you can dispense any desired amount without wasting any product.
Shade #23 also called Natural Beige actually matches well with my skin tone (NC30-35), however, as with most BB Creams they go on with a gray cast, but oxidizes to match the skin in a few minutes. This one is actually (a little) darker than the first BB cream I reviewed, but at the same time, Perfect Cover left a grayer cast when applied.
Perfect Cover has a creamier texture and it is easy to blend. I still find that the best application is with your fingers, then blend with a foundation or buffer brush.
The coverage is light to medium, it is also buildable. I wait for the first layer to dry then apply a second. The finish is satiny, not matte, I do use a setting powder with this BB Cream after the application.
As with all bases containing high SPF, do expect a white cast in flash photography. For my skin type, the oil-control of this BB cream is less superior to that of the DeAge BB Cream. I have to blot after only a few hours with the Perfect Cover. But with that said, I can get a good 6-8 hours of wear with this BB Cream in a non-humid environment.
Overall, this M Perfect Cover is, in my opinion, one of the better BB Creams on the market. I definitely do prefer this one over both the Dr. Jart BB creams sold at Sephora. Both of which I found performed like average tinted moisturizers. But I must say that at the moment, DeAge BB Cream is still my favorite.. I just found that M Perfect Cover's shade is perfect for the summer.
I purchased my M Perfect Cover from one of my local Japanese specialty stores. It can also be purchased at their website, which I heard has great customer service. As always know your online retailer, there are a lot of fake BB creams on the market.
