notable mentions : real techniques stippling brush

I thought I'd highlight this amazing little brush that I discovered -- Real Techniques Stippling Brush by Samantha Chapman.

You know how even though you have multiple tools for a specific task, yet you keep reaching for the same one over and over?  Well this is how I feel about this brush.  It has served multiple purposes for me, from Foundations, BB Creams and different powder products.

This is what I reach for when I'm applying a base such as foundation, but I would also recommend this for BB Creams and other emollient products.. even powders!

It is a duo-fiber brush much like most stippling brushes.  But what I like about it is the size of the head.  It is big enough to stipple and buff the product all over the face, yet compact enough to go around the eye area.

The denseness of the brush is also perfect, not too stiff and not too soft that it splays and make the product apply streaky.

Did I mention the price?  I picked this up for $9.99 at Ulta.  And don't forget that they run promos and coupons for these products, so really, this makes it one of the most affordable and efficient products out there.

It's no secret that I have been a big follower of the Pixiwoo sisters, not only for their down to earth and awesome personality, but for the immense and unbelievable talent they have.  I'm glad that Sam has extended her talents into designing these brushes, and made it affordable for everyone.  If you visit the Real Techniques site, Sam will show you how to use her brushes in different ways.

I highly recommend this brush if you run across it.  I grabbed the last one from my local Ulta store and one of the sales associates had informed me that they could not keep them in stock...  I guess I'm not the only one that has discovered this little gem!

Hi! I was wondering if you could tell me where you bought those leopard print holders that your makeup brushes are in? I absolutely love them! Thanks!

Hi raven! I actually got them at a Marshalls I believe. They are actually pen holders, but they hold brushes perfectly! So you may be able to find similar ones at the office supply areas in different stores.
