Bliss Triple Oxygen + C Energizing Cream / Kate Somerville Nourish / Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins
Unpredictable weather changes in the west coast have wreaked major havoc on my sensitive skin. We wake up to days of summer temperatures.. then it plummets down to chilly nights. Like the weather, my skin can not make up its mind on its condition. Typically, during the summer months, I lean more towards combination to oily. But lately, it's just combination to dry and extra sensitive. So I started to play around with new skincare, and so far, it has help mend my irritated skin. For days when my skin is dry, I opt for Kate Somerville Nourish. It's made for dry skin, but light enough that it absorbs fast. The anti-aging benefits of Matrixyl 3000 is also a good plus. I also recently started using Bliss Triple Oxygen + C, which I love. It actually absorbs faster than the Nourish, and leaves a non-greasy feel, so this is an ideal moisturizer prior to makeup application. Lastly, the Origins High Potency Night-A-Mins has been a long-time staple. This product just makes my skin brighter when I wake up the next day. I am going through my backup of the discontinued lotion version, which I am very disappointed with. The new version is in a cream formula and I found that I was not crazy about the sample I got from Origins.
La Roche-Posay Effaclar K and Effaclar Duo
Then of course, I couldn't leave out the products I can't live without. The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo which is a lifesaver for when my skin breaks out, and the Effaclar K, which I use to rid of the left over dark spots from break outs. Along with my Clarisonic Mia 2, which I use every other day, I am currently looking for a good scrub. I have my eye on the Kate Somerville Exfolikate or the Arcona Cranberry Gommage Exfoliant.
